Duties and Responsibilities:

Reports to the Kitchen Manager/Executive Steward
Washes pots, pans and kitchen utensils using the dishwasher or by hand
Puts away clean equipment and utensils in proper storage areas
Maintains kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in a clean and orderly condition
Sweep & Mop the floors, walk-ins, bathrooms and all other facility areas
Take out all garbage, breakdown boxes before taking to the dumpster and keeps garbage areas and pails clean
Other duties as assigned by a manager and/or a supervisor

Uses time efficiently and completes work in a timely manner
Demonstrates attention to detail
Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
Demonstrates the ability to work independently

Physical Demands and Other Requirements:

Regularly required to stand for 8 or more hours
Regularly required to use hands
Occasionally required to lift up to 50 lbs
Regularly required to bend down to floor level or reach above eye level
Must have reliable transportation
Must have reliable means of communication
Must wear slip-resistant, oil-resistant shoes while working at all time (provided by employee)
